It's been a while since my last entry and in that time I have purchased a Tenecor acrylic 770 gallon fish tank in which I'll replace my current 120 gallon with. Is bigger better? I don't know but it will be a fun project to do with my kids!
I'm estimating roughly 5-7 months to actually have it in place up and running as there is a lot of research that needs to be done for filtration, acrylic buffing & set-up. It will need a welded frame to support over seven thousand pounds of weight which is a bit scary!

I have started to remove the acrylic paint that was on it so I went out and got this great product called Krud Kutter which removes graffiti and is non toxic and safe to boot!
It took 9 guys to carry the beast using suction cups. Another great product from Harbor Freight and very cheap at $5.00 a pair.
I'm leaning towards an South American biotope for this one and stocking plans will include Cichla which are peacock bass for starters.
Let the good times roll!
