Lots of things are happening as we all struggle through these tough times but I can feel and sense that the times are changing and actually getting better in terms of more business levels and in the opportunity scene. We have been driving creativity relative to thinking outside the box and have seen good results from the grassroots. Leads are coming in from new groups and rooms are being booked at a solid pace so our October and November will be the #1 & #2 best months of the year and this has the entire team pumped up. This coupled with the overall awareness from our associates relative to our push towards Facebook, Twitter & Trip Advisor and our efforts in the social media arena has everyone ignited. The energy is spreading throughout the resort and you can feel the team starting to pick-up the moral and brush off any negative vibes.
I'm excited for a renewed sense of mindset that we're all accustomed to so good times ahead...
